Winter '10/'11
Op 26 november lag er voor het eerst dit jaar een dun laagje sneeuw.

Gelukkig heeft ons schepertje een flinke bontjas.
Our little shepherd is winter-proof in his fur coat.
Tijd voor de prikken. Motek zit hier nog heel braaf op de weegschaal (30.5 kg), maar eenmaal binnen in de spreekkamer, was hij het helemaal niet eens met die naald in z'n flank en ging hij tekeer "als een beest".

After all this running, time for a sit down rest.
En toen was het opeens februari. Twee maanden lang is Motek meegeweest in de bus, naar Frankrijk, Spanje en Portugal. Een fotoverslag staat ook op deze website (vanaf 1 januari hier).
The past two months Motek has joined us in the school bus, all the way to Spain and Portugal. A weblog - with lots of Swiss shepherd - can be found here: 2010 and 2011.
Hier zit Motek zichzelf zielig te vinden omdat hij niet met het vrouwtje mee mag de supermarkt in.
Motek full of self-pity. Why don't they allow dogs in supermarkets?
Dat was nog eens een buitenkansje! Een buurvrouw gaf ons een paar stukken van een groot hert, te oud voor menselijke consumptie. Motek heeft daar geen moeite mee.
A special treat! The neighbours down the street asked if we could use some deer meat, which was not tender enough for human consumption. No problem for a little white shepherd...
